What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
What makes me stand out is my motivation of striving to become great. As well as making myself better and my teammates better. I am resilient, confident, and unselfish and I think I would be a perfect athlete for a football team looking for a Defensive Tackle or Long Snapper.
Zach Blalock is a 2019 athlete who played both DT and was a LS for his team. He doesn’t have good size, and only weighing 225 means he’ll have to be a DE at the next level. What he does a good job of is staying low and getting underneath the blocker. He is very quick out his stance, and does a nice job of putting himself in the right spot. He is a grinder out there on the field and uses his hands fairly well. Blalock needs to work on getting better leverage. Cannot deny the energy he plays the game with and absolutely think he play at the next level. I really like his overall production last year and he didn’t it against a lot of D1 caliber football players. Couple the fact that he also is a LS, I think Blalock can make an impact on special teams no doubt.
