Delira shows a really nice athletic burst on the football from his defensive back spot. He displays above average top end speed, but his aggression is where he separates himself from others. Delira plays the game with a lot of urgency. Every play on his reel we see him going full sprint to the ball carrier. His ability to change direction and overall hip flexibility is really impressive, makes you wonder how he would play at cornerback, especially since his 5’11” 170 pound frame is good for the position. Delira’s a good safety recruit no doubt, but his lack of plays defending the pass does catch our attention. Either way the 2019 recruit found his way around the football a lot, and can flat out drill the ball carrier on his tackle attempts. I really like the way he closes more than anything, Delira’s ability to do that makes us believe he can play at a high level. He is now at Douglas Co. and has continued to look really good with the increase in competition. Colleges are sleeping on the senior.
