Clogging the middle for Trinity Christian is Justin Byrd, who really makes the 3-4 defense at Trinity go. He is a deceptively athletic lineman, even though his frame would not suggest he shows nice lateral quickness. He plays well with his hands, showing a nice little swim move, also straight bull rush. Does a good job of maintaining multiple blockers at once. He’s a quality athlete, but could stand to lose a few pounds, and his best playing weight is probably more around 280 instead of 290.
