Always a big fan of a defensive back who also has a background in baseball. The 2019 recruit has nice length at 6′ and does a solid job tackling given his 160 pound frame. We see him get several FBS/FCS caliber recruits in 1 v 1 situations. Pursuit angles need some work, and sometimes he outruns the ball carrier. Overall he just has to add weight, but if he can get to around 175 I think some FCS schools will be interested. Also need more production defending the pass. He makes some plays in the passing game, but his biggest impact is felt in run support. Top end speed is okay, and potential to get beat deep is a possibility. Overall, he is a good athlete with adequate length, just need to see him take that next step and working in the weight room would be a big step for his recruitment.
