Perryman took on a large load of the carrier at Pace, and the little back can certainly hit full stride in a blink of an eye. He shows a really nice burst in the first 20 yards, one of the best among backs in his class that we have seen. He has good speed, maybe not true breakaway, but can be very affective making plays off tackle. Perryman does a really nice job reading his blockers. He also play at free safety for Pace, looks to be a really solid tackler. Perryman has a lot of ability at the next level. He can play some slot receiver too, makes some nice plays where his route running is pretty tight and he can burn the DB right on his release. I really like his pad level and forward lean he shows. Looking to see him take his game to another level this fall and to see more tough runs in-between the tackles. I can see military schools being interested in him, his skill set is very versatile and I think his blocking could be pretty solid too based of his tackles on defense.
