Vasallo was defensive MVP at his HS, which has some pretty good players on the roster, especially on the defensive line. What I like about this kid is his motor. He is just non-stop effort. He carries his weight well too, shows long arms, I think he can get up to around 260 at the next level. I want to see his first step improve, and for him to continue to fill out his frame. Enzo does a really good job of setting the edge, he can rip through a block pretty quickly and seems to have a nose for the football. His speed is average, but his non-stop hustle and pursuit after the ball carrier makes up for that. He seems like an ideal candidate for high academic schools to pursue.
