Pinkney was one of the leading sackers in the state of Georgia. He shows an elite ability at reading the ball carrier, and taking a perfect pursuit angle. I like how he plays so much off the edge out in space where he can use his quickness and speed to get around blocks. He is really physical with his hands. does a great job of getting leverage scraping off his blocks. The 2019 recruit has a great football IQ, and is a perfect prospect to play as a 3-4 OLB at the next level. Personally think that Pinkney can play at the Power 5 level due to his elite first step and ability to see the field so well. His 22 sacks last year led class 7-A and earned him defensive player of the year according to the AJC in Class 7-A.
