Ward was one of the top CB’s we saw last fall for the class of 2019. He’s extremely physical player who does a nice job of redirecting the receiver with his guide hand. Ward does a great job of getting inside positioning on the receiver. And really attacks the pass. He shows really good instincts reading the play, and does a fantastic job gauging the pass and reacting to it. His attacking mindset on jump balls gives him a better advantage a lot of times than the WR. Ward is a lockdown CB, who fits in well at the boundary position. Really high on him and think he will play P5 football for sure.
