What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
My willingness to compete and dedication to the game.
Murphy is an above average athlete who demonstrates really good acceleration. He has a fluid running motion, and legit size at 6’1″ so he really does cover solid ground at his safety spot. We also like his ability to play either SS or FS. He shows good ball skills as a receiver so playing deep is not out of questions but he is consistently closer to the line of scrimmage due to his tackling. What we like about Murphy is how he competes, and against top rated schools like Carver, he steps his game up, even though his team is obviously out matched. He’s a really good student too, and should help him adjust to a college playbook pretty quickly. Needs to add another 15-20 pounds but we like his upside.
