Ridley violently gets off his blocks and moves extremely well laterally. He has a nose for the football, and does a good job of keeping his eyes in the backfield while getting off blocks. Subsequently, he is able to make a ton of tackles from his defensive tackle spot. The 2018 lineman is just a tough hard-nosed athlete who can slide over and become a strongside defensive end at the next level. He plays with a really big motor, and shows explosiveness on his tackles attempts. He is 25 pounds heavier than last season, and this upcoming fall could really turn heads from local programs. He has a big frame and really plays with a ton of aggression. We could easily see the senior adding another 30-40 pounds. He moves exceptionally well already.
