Mays has done well during the offseason and we were told by South Georgia sources to check him out. The basketball star is a playmaker out there on the field. He shows really good ball skills going up for grabs – has really good spacial awareness and keeps his feet after making the catch. I don’t say this ever, but just watching Mays on film, it’s obvious if he played at larger HS closer to Atlanta he would have a lot more attention from FCS and FBS programs. He is a player that you need to invite to your camp, because he should shine in 1 v 1’s.
