Cotter has moved over to linebacker this year replacing a 4 star linebacker and has filled in nicely. He plays with his eyes really well, and fires off the snap. He takes on the lead blockers with a ton of aggression, fights off of it, then makes a play on the ball carrier. Very consistent tackler, Cotter has been a leader for Brookwood most weeks, and has taken down 3 and 4 star running backs out in space. Cotter has all the ability to be a starter at the FCS level and you have to love his versatility as a potential h-back as well. Currently leading his team in tackles with 144, which gives him the tie for the regular season high. GSWA All-State Linebacker. All-Gwinnett County Linebacker.
