Shockley shows really good lateral quickness which allows him to slip by the offensive lineman and make a stop. Really impressed with how quickly he gets to his area in pass coverage – the 2018 recruit finds himself around the ball a lot. Needs to continue to gain weight, especially in the lower body but like the smart instinctual linebacker from ELCA. At the next level he could end up as a strong safety, it just depends on who ends up offering the 2018 athlete. He’s added about 8-10 pounds over the last year.
